RONDEWU 2026 - 11th Edition !

A week for politically interested and/or active people from across Europe to exchange strategies, find common joy and gather strength to keep fighting for a desirable world.
RONDEWU is a self-organised annual gathering in the mountains connecting feminists, writers, artists, activists, anti-racists, anarchists, anti-capitalists, workers, students, living breathing human beings of all ages and genders. This has now been happening for 11 years and we are thrilled to announce the Rondewu 2026 Edition "Currency of Trust": It is something we all need in order to live our lives. We use it to value every single thing on earth. We can have some since we are born, or we can struggle hardly for it everyday. Something that creates inequalities in all societal scales. The "privilege" and the curse, the source and the burden. It determines our activities, our power, our opportunities, our bodies, the quality of our lives.
This year at RONDEWU we want to talk about something as simple as money. It is a super intersectional phenomenon that divides our society among roles, genders, "classes", backgrounds and it is highly emotional. Often irritating, at times empowering: it infiltrates the most intimate aspects of life (for everybody). In the "privileged" context of being all together in Salecina, we want to explore money as a structure-building commodity: - How can communities be built on networks instead markets? - How can relationships resist quantification? - How can a society without money exist? bring some cash! :) Does this sound interesting to you? DIY Rondewu is a self-organised annual gathering in the mountains hosted by Salecina. During the week we spend together we have different kind of activities: we co-plan hikes of different levels at the surrounding mountains, participants bring workshops ideas according to the proposed yearly topic, or create them on site. You can also expect unstructured time, as well as a lot of cooking and eating together.
AWARENESS We try to make Rondewu a safer space, which is why we ask you to participate in awareness raising and to respect your own and others’ limits and boundaries. We do not tolerate any racist, sexist or other discriminatory behavior. Salecina is unfortunately not barrier free.
